BUMBLE BEE AND DORMOUSE

This necklace and brooch was one of my very early commissions.

The brief was to create a 17th century "mythical monster" style
necklace with the details being inspired by the family heraldry,
which was a Bumble bee and Dormouse.

The whole piece is in sterling silver and 18ct gold plated, with cold cure enamel
2 Amber cabochons.
The dormouse was first carved in wax and then cast in silver and a brooch pin attached to the back
To round it all off, the Star Sapphire cabochon was hung from the dormouse.

The Dragonfly and flower necklace was inspired from this commission
please view in Contemporary, necklaces.

This product was added to our catalogue on Friday 20 February, 2009.
