To make purchases, you will need to create an account. Its quick and easy to sign up and can be done during checkout, optionally, you can also receive updates and news on Gemmeus, Historical Jewellery.

To use the shop

1. Browse the site by clicking on category boxes on the home page, or category menu in the rest of the site. If you get lost, click "Home", links can be found at the top and bottom of the site.
2. Click on an item picture to reveal a larger image and brief description.
3. If you wish to purchase, click the "add to cart" button.
4. Then either "Continue Shopping" or "Proceed to Checkout".
5. Items are sent via Royal Mail Special Delivery. Please read "Shipping" section for details/returns.
6. If you "Proceed to Checkout" you will be taken through to PayPal to make payment.
7. Once payment has been made PayPal will send a confirmation of the payment received along with a list of items purchased. In stock Items will be despatched within 48 hours. If items are out of stock I will contact you and provide a delivery date. All pieces are individually hand crafted and therefore out of stock items can take up to six weeks for dispatch.
8. Once PayPal payment is completed please return Gemmeus so that your purchase is also recorded in the shop and on your Gemmeus account.

If you are experiencing problems in paying, please email me and I will send you an invoice via PayPal to pay direct.

Payment plan

If you see an item you like but cannot afford it all in one go and you do not want to miss out on it, please contact me by email and I will put it aside for you. I can split the payment in to four amounts, interest free.
